There are many different plans for paying for an Isles event. The costs are based on the type of character that you want to play at the event, and how long you will be there. Prices represent those for a normal, Friday night to Sunday afternoon event.

Types of Character:

• Townsperson $60
  A townsperson is someone who spends all of their time in the safe environs of the town. They are full characters, and may even have combat skills; they just carry a prohibition from leaving town. They must come up with some character justification for this restriction. This is not to say that a townsperson has that status forever. It is possible to play a townsperson for one event, then an Adventurer for the next. If circumstances demand that a character must go into the field, it is possible to pay the Adventurer premium and then go out.
• Adventurer $20 premium ($80 total)
  These folks are the most demanding in terms of resources. If we didn’t have adventurers, we wouldn’t need modules or monsters, other than the occasional wandering tradesman. The $20 dollars they pay to be this Type goes directly and completely to pay the monsters for being there, for all the makeup and costumes and module setup.

Partial Events
We break the events into 2 parts, from Friday Night thru Saturday Noon, and from Saturday Noon thru Sunday. While we prefer that players be on site for an entire event, we recognize that sometimes people have other commitments. Playing a ‘partial event’ allows you to come and be part of the action at a reduced rate, if you cannot attend the entire weekend. Prices for partial events are as follows:

• Townsperson: $35
• Adventurer: $45

We encourage people to pre-register for events, as it allows us to prepare character cards ahead of time, and allows us to work to include you in our event plans. Players who do not pre-register will pay a penalty of $15 at the door on Friday night. This penalty does not effect new / first time players.

We accept payment at the door, with no surcharge, as long as you have pre-registered for the event.

We accept cash or checks at the event, or you may pay via Paypal thru our event registration system.
