The ones we saw, as Bozzie said, were of a dense foam rubber - not any near
an open cell foam. When I held one, I could easily hold it on the edge of my finger -
the same way you would hold a stone if you were going to skip it on water ...
If you held it that way, and threw it with any force - it would hurt.
I completely back Bozzie on this - I would not want to get hit with one of them.
A NERF dart is restricted by the force of the gun firing it.
We have had some weapons that we have not put into game, as we were concerned
about the velocity of the dart. These throwing stars come under that concern.
If the foam was softer, might have a different opinion.
If a bit bigger so they would be harder to over-throw, might be different.
But as they are, I would not want to get hit with one thrown by an excited player or NPC.
I won't back something I would not want to get hit my myslef.
