I have went ahead and pre-registered for the Oct. event. However on the good news front; my girlfriend who has been living in Texas for the past three years was just offered a job in the town next to mine. As such she is finally returning to Massachusetts, thank the deities. Unfortunately we don't have her moving arrangements or star date finalized and there is a chance of isles conflict. There is also the small mater of wasting sanity by Oracle, which has now been postponed to Nov. 1st. This should not interfere with the isle closer but there is a chance.

Finally there is that small matter of an editic Think

That is fine news indeed! We just hope that we will see you at Isles. If there is anything we can do to help with this, let us know.

As posted on the pre-reg thread. While Lan is safely back in Massachusetts and enjoying her new job, Oracle has not cooperated and as such I will not be at the October event as I have to work this Saturday and potentially Sunday. I am currently scheduled to bring Rob to site and that will not be an issue, it will also give me a chance to bring my isles "props" and Andris's letters

Chris. I will be sending you a private mail to zhinn.

Sincerely

Chris

I'm *really* glad you were able to make it and play. You were a tremendous asset on Saturday night.

When Mal gave Andris the nightmare amulet, my greatest fear was to be returned "home" and being burned alive. Which is why he was always a little apprehensive about Draden's phoenix amulet. At the last event Andris went though the tech gate on the second to last run [but the player had a small issue making the gate work the first time] Seeing the note about Tachyon interference planted the thought into my head that the earth gate which was also Tech based might interact in a unforeseen way. I also learned that the last group "played" with the parameters to have "time travel" so at the end of last event I chose to defy the edict and return to Earth. I talked with Chris about the time travel and burning option at the last bardic, but only decided to go that route when work told me on Thursday morning that we needed to work on Saturday and potentially Sunday. Chris was kind enough to print out and arrange for the letter from earth at the 11th hour.

Finally when I was able to get on site "fates" intervened I could go to any isle I wished... Response. Take me home my friends are facing a great battle and I need to be there. My original idea was to come inside in the rattiest T-Shirt that I had but since I also wanted to drop off my stuff at the cabin I did that first. Only to find that the "layout" of my tags / helmet etc was still inside, so proceed to get dressed...

Thanks again to the Staff and all the PCs and NPCs it was great fun
