I have been asked if the board will send email when a post is made, like the old one did? To be honest I didn't know the old one did

However, I did implement every board as a separate RSS Feed thus your RSS readers can deliver the messages to your inbox and even keep them straight

Also their is a 'Watch this topic and receive notifications of activity via e-mail?" check box on all new topics started if that helps.
NOTE: This only works on new topics not replys to topics.

When you are in a post you would like to watch, scroll all the way to the top and in the /dark/ blue bar on the far right you will see "Options" in bold white, click on this which will open a drop down menu and then click "Watch this topic" this will allow you to "subscribe" to a topic and get email alerts when has new posts. Also PM's automatically do this.
