The fact that we have all these easily reachable (Especially the complete copy) is great, especial in PDF form.. but I have a favor to ask... both for the complete book and the spectrum section...

Could the respective maintainers please edit the document properties to allow for the correct title and author? I have a program that sorts a bunch of PDFs and ebooks and the like, and it comes up for the Isles book as no title, and "Dow Jones User" as the author.. for spectrum, it has an acceptable author (Todd), but the title says "This will be an attempt to codify the trap rules we are adding ".. Unfortunately I only have PDF readers, not editors so I can't fix them myself...

The Enchantment pdf is messed up

What Dave means to say is -
The link for the Enchantment PDF is the same as the Production PDF,
both refer to the production rules. The Enchantment section is missing ...

Finally a clear and concrete clarification for Maim; "One knee on the ground, no hopping or dragging". Had that issue come up a few times last game.

I'd leave the authors of the rules as it was originally,
maybe add "and updates by the staff of The Isles MA"

The "author" issue referred to here is that PDF (and MS Word Docs, for that matter) store metadata fields such as author, title, copyright information, and the like. The PDF's were generated by a piece of software registered to "Dow Jones User" and so that metadata is incorrect.

At some point, I can fix this. I've set up a mirror at http://www.kzinhome.net/isles/ and also removed the annoying whitespaces from the filenames.

It might be because there are new effects coming out (other than straight damage)?

Spectrum is very much still in effect, so far as I know. I'll bring a print out of the rules (as I have 'em, as last posted here) with me.

The plan is for Rourkie to get the files linked up on the website in the next couple of days -
if anyone finds any remaining errors or omissions when they are posted, please let me know ASAP.

Our goal is to have one unified rule set.

As of the next event (June 2009), the rules and info posted on the website
will override any and all prior information put out.

Any changes in history (a couple of Isles have altered names from the true original names),
will be simply put off to the fact that the original names were "local" names, and the current
names are the "official" Empire recognized names. As far as I know, there are only 3.
And, if you don't know what they are - all the better !!!!!

and a big - BIG thank you to Steve for doing all of the correcting & updating of the files !
