I created a flicker set for the Tibetan thangka (wall scroll) I created for the Isles. A high-res scan of the final version is at the end of the set. As for the sand mandala I created, pictures of it should be in the pictures taken by Thomas Thomas, whenever those are put up.

The Flicker Set

As for the image, I photoshopped templates from pre-existing thangkas together. There's about 4 different thangkas in there. Some of the people are not specific people from the game, but the people in the top clouds are. Most of them are converted from monks, except for the middle three. The top middle was a Buddha, and to Buddha's right and left were green and white Taras. To the left of the main figure is Chakmool. To right is a leftover red Tara that I didn't convert into anything.

Left to right, clockwise: Cass, JD, Rowan, Elsee, Nara, Meyta, B'munge, Brose, Sal, Jesus, Skik.

I mainly chose people Mina either knew well or could be easily fit in or I had good pictures of to work from. Please don't feel bad if you were not in the thangka. The selection of who made it in was somewhat random.

And yes, Mina/Mahakalah is stepping on an NPC in a taberd and jeans.

Wow!! I didn'r look close at the Thangka. I had/have two of those in real life and this one looked very similar in some ways to one of mine so I thought that you had acquired one for your character. I will try and copy it off as a memento of Isles I - thanks!

This is incredible Marcia.
At first glance at the event I thought it was a cool piece of Tibetan religious art and then I noticed the demon had a shovel and eyepiece and thought. "Oh! that's clever! She modified a cool piece of Tibetan religious art." And I was like wha... SERIOUSLY?!? She did it all by hand?!?!?
It blew my mind to see little caricatures of all of us on there!!! The colors, the design... It's beautiful and just really, really awesome. :o)

This was a very welcome surprise during the event. I am honored to have been included - and I'm glad Mina is living on to this very day in her experiences and wisdom being passed on to all. <3
