Hello all!

As many of you already know, I am a part of the Hollis Brookline High School FIRST Robotics Team. This past weekend, we won the BAE Systems FIRST Robotics Granite State Regional Competition. We seeded 2nd place out of 48 teams, and we won in the finals, and received several other awards in addition. We are ecstatic, this is the best in the history of the team that we have ever done! This does mean that we move on though, to the World Championship in Atlanta, Georgia. The Championship is the same weekend as the Isles event in which the Governor's Ball occurs. Sorry guys, there is very little competition here; I will be going to the World FIRST Robotics Championship with my team. I figured I would let everyone know now while I'm thinking about, and so that anyone thinking I'll be there can plan ahead with my absence.

And what a truly EPIC competition it was!

There was broken bots, bot fights and all kinds of feirce competition!

And the final three matches (blue vs red 2 out of 3 = win) had to be extended to four because of a toe in the THIRD match! EPIC!

1073 really kicked as this year and we're all proud of Elizabeth.

I have no doubt that her team (and allied teams) will kick ass in Atlanta and bring home the BIG trophy!

Remeber that deliberately destroying the other sides robots is prohibited under FIRST rules.

...so make it look like an accident.
