Well, I've been allowed to use Post-Event logistics in a very limited form. Y'see I usually have gathered enough Mining Pool Points to do a bunch of new PSU discovery and/or PSU:SU conversion but there is usually a long line by then. So, since it is a simple math thing I've been told to put it into my PELs. That's really the only Post-Event Logistics I've ever done.
As for Pre-Event Logistics, I'm all for it. If you know for certain that you are going to need this and that and have the resources on hand to do it, a simple note detailing the materials, the recipe (so they don't have to look it up), and exactly whose skills are being used then you should do it. But if, like you, you depend on things happening around you and responding to certain needs as they crop up then you should wait in line and get things that way.
A great example for Pre-Event Logistics is Meyta and her cooking for some 15-20 people. If she has the Produce/Meat to create 30-60 Sust Tokens on hand, she should definitly do Pre-Event Logistics and be able to hand in those Produce/Meat at check in and get those Sust Tokens right then -- assuming she has, of course emailed the Logistics Folks that that is what she intends to do. We don't need a Logistics style line forming at check in either -- the game won't start til next morning!
I think the options of Pre~ & Post-Event Simple Logistics should be available and will, if people take good advantage of it, free up more Logistics time for those, like you, who need to Refine and Craft on the fly. You'll never get rid of the need to Refine and/or Craft on the fly but you sure can reduce the congestion by allowing those who flat out know what they are going to do to do it Pre/Post-Event.
My three cents (inflation!)
