Insight is now a bit of a hybrid skill.

If we can, and it is harder than you might think, create a few pre-set insight uses,
we will place tags in people's check-in envelopes.

More often, you are likely to find a marker that says "Area Insight".
You may read a number of "Area Insight" markers equal to the number of Insight Tags you should have.
(I believe this is equal to your Karma - but I am not sure off the top of my head). This number cannot be reset.
The number is per-event. You are not required to read any marker, it is your choice.

Area Insight tags allow us to place Insight in areas where people might go, but we want to have
a better chance for you to gain the info. We used the "number of green things" for a while,
but in module settings esp. it is hard to do that. So, we are giving this new method a try -
we started it last season, and will continue this season.
