The only way to ban a URL would be sure that a computer went through our computer before hitting the site.. For instance, if we were all back in school we could block
www.theisles.org from being accessed by any of the computers on campus. We cannot, however, do the same for some random person on the internet. The equivalent would be either block an IP address, but most ISPs give out ones that change every few days to months, or block an ISP, in which case you block a large number of people. Imagine if someone was using an AOL account to spam us, if we block AOL then anyone who has it can't get here!
