Just a question of curiosity, does this skill still work the way it says in the rulebook?

I'm not sure exactly what the rulebook says, but I know that you need to keep a sharp eye out to use your insight. As recently as last event I noticed two of the insight markers. It's always something green, but can be subtle. I've seen it as a piece of jewelry with multiple jems or sometimes as green beads. other times, a number of leaves...

Just keep a look out. It's really cool.

So these beads for example would be shaped in a 3 for example, or would have a 3 written on them, or is it that there would just be 3 of them?

There would be 3 of them and they all would be green.
What can I say? I'm a "one wolf" kind of elf!

Doesn't that make you sort of paranoid though, LOL? If you had the number 4 for example, you could see 4 green things everywhere, I would be neverious that I was breaking the rules and looking at my card at the wrong time.

although it's subtle, once you notice it, it's pretty clear that it's an insight thing. Plus, you'll know if you look at your tags that the info just doesn't match if you've got it wrong. Insight offers more flavor then anything else, it's not a game breaking skill. Although it's not a powerful skill, it's a lot of fun when you find an insight.

Sometimes the insight "markers" get missenturpreted horribly. I ran into a sprig of green plant purposely placed in a cave. According to its relevant insight marker was supposed to inform us that part of the cave led into labrynth. Of course what my character thought was totally different.

Starn:"Hey you guys see this green sprig?"

"I'm not sure why it's here."

"It doesn't look like an herb."

"I wonder why the CHUD's are hauling down brush."

VOICE OF GM:"That leads to a massive labrynth"

Starn:"Great, my part was pretty crampted I'll appreciate the extra room.

VOICE OF GM:"That you can get easily lost in"

Starn:"Like you surface dwellers get lost in your massive surface cities? I used to navigate worse on a weekly basis while drunk. Although the CHUD's came from here I'm not ready to deal with them. I'm going to wall off this section for now..."

note: some artistic liscense was taken, the conversation was not exactly above.

-Starn-

"And they say my money can't protect me!" Starn says while putting on his silver helmet & loads his bone inlayed silver hand-cannon with golden bullets...

Yeah, insight is one of those skills that I wish wasn't so expensive for a Productionist/Thug.

...if I ever come up to you and point out a Very Interesting set of green things, it would be a good idea not to blow me off. :)
